Everything in our lives from financial to political to culinary spheres are changing rapidly, but not so rapidly that we have lost the ability to discuss the very considerable and meaningful impact that these changes have on us.
Some of the topics I think it is important to consider are:
1. The Financial System, its faults and also its future.. are we really in for an eventual collapse or has the factors culimated in such a short time that we have lost any true perspective and in sense have lost the ability to meaningful judge the news and the data that is being fed to us?
2. Politics, is the Obama revolution a return to the cyclical nature of American politics, a brief lull in the rightward shift the United States has been experiencing since the 70s? Is obama some type of hybrid of Carter/Clinton or are things really changing?
